Centre de Formation Professionnelle Technique ↗ | CFPT – Random Dice Simulator
Category : Industrial Mechatronics, Electronics
This compact electronic module is a random dice simulator. It's powered by a 3-volt CR2032 button-cell battery and features seven red LEDs arranged to display the different faces of a die. Its operation is controlled by an integrated circuit visible on the board, which randomly lights the LEDs to simulate the roll of a die.

Evident Europe GmbH ↗ | Zoom into science: discover the world beyond the naked eye
Category : Biology, Microscopy
Dive into the fascinating world of microscopy and discover details invisible to the naked eye! Observe insects, plants, fibres, and everyday objects under the microscope, and learn how scientists use microscopy to observe, understand, and explore the world around us. This hands-on activity is designed to spark curiosity and inspire tomorrow's scientists. Feel free to bring your own small objects or natural specimens to explore and reveal their hidden structures!

Soroban Genève ↗ | Discovering the Soroban and Anzan
Category : Mathematics
The Soroban is a Japanese abacus used to learn calculation in a visual, concrete, and progressive way. The method starts with handling the beads to represent numbers and better understand how calculation works. With practice, users gradually learn to visualise the abacus in their mind and perform calculations mentally, without any physical support. This method, known as Anzan, builds concentration, visual memory, logic, and calculation speed. Participants will discover how the Soroban works, complete their first calculations, and take on fun speed and concentration challenges.

UniGE – Association genevoise pour les métiers de laboratoire (Agemel) ↗ | Science quizzes: chemistry and biology
Category : Chemistry and Biology
Come discover chemistry and biology through two quizzes! Test your knowledge of synthetic scents and the molecules used in chemistry, then explore the fascinating world of microorganisms studied in biology. This activity will also give you a closer look at the work of a lab technician, at the heart of scientific analysis, observation, and experimentation.

UniGE – G·EM (Section de mathématiques) ↗ | Girls and Maths
Category : Mathematics
The University of Geneva's Genève Evasions mathématiques runs a Girls and Maths programme, including girls-only activities such as the Marmottes and mini-Marmottes camps, as well as the Girls and Maths Circle. Participants from these activities, aged 14 to 19, will be around to tell you about what they do there, answer your questions, and share some maths they genuinely enjoy!

UniGE – Physiscope ↗ | Discovering quantum mechanics
Category : Quantum Mechanics
What exactly is quantum mechanics? Can it be seen or observed? We'll set off to discover the fascinating world of the infinitely small. Through experiments in light polarisation and by observing birefringent crystals under the microscope, we'll witness phenomena that originate in quantum mechanics. And to guide us on this adventure, we'll be joined by the Atoberries - adorable little monsters inspired by the periodic table of elements!

Plastic Free Campus (Gallifrey Foundation) ↗ | Schools and students taking a more active stand? It’s possible!
Category : Gouvernance, environnement
Plastic Free Campus gives students the tools to take action: forming their own eco-team, auditing single-use plastic in their school, and launching concrete initiatives to reduce it by bringing the entire school. From workshops and zero-plastic events to step-by-step guidance, everything is in place to support them. By becoming PFC ambassadors, their impact extends beyond school walls, inspiring their community. At the PFC booth during the Discovery Fair, they will discover practical ideas and inspiring examples to help them get started and choose their own way to get involved.

Jardin Botanique de Genève ↗ | Botanical collections under the microscope
Category : Biology, Botany
Come observe mysterious samples under the microscope and discover the scientific professions at the Geneva Botanical Garden.
Stand led by : Romain Dewaele and Farah Messaadi
COTY ↗ | Challenging volatility in perfumes
Category : Chemistry
Come discover this olfactory activity, which shows how we can play with the volatility of certain fragrance ingredients to extend their lasting power.

CERN ↗ | Particle accelerators: how do they work?
Category : Physics
Discover how CERN scientists accelerate and guide particles at nearly the speed of light! Look at real cross-sections of dipole and quadrupole magnets to understand the role magnets play in accelerators. Discover the particles that make up our Universe and learn to recognise them.
UniGE – Département d’astronomie et projet Salomé ↗ | At the heart of a planetariun
Category : Astrophysics
Stand led by : Baptiste Lavie, Chloé Lavie and Marion Cointepas
Addictlab ↗ | Addictlab Garage
Category : Technology, mechanics
An interactive, hands-on session where participants use Infento construction kits to design, build, and test their own creative machines. It encourages teamwork, problem-solving, engineering skills, and creativity through learning by doing.

HEIG-VD – Haute École d’Ingénierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud ↗ | Measure, observe, build! Discover engineering with HEIG-VD
Category : Engineering
What if you saw the world differently? At the HEIG-VD stand, explore engineering while having fun. With “Territorial Engineering,” switch between 2D and 3D: measure distances on a globe using a string and a ruler, then locate the positions of miniature 3D-printed landforms on a map of Switzerland. With Energy and Environmental Engineering, track down invisible heat using a thermal camera. With Industrial Systems and Industrial Engineering and Management, discover how the machines and factories of tomorrow are designed and operated. No need to be an expert—all you need is curiosity!
