Administration
For organisational reasons, we reserve the right to adjust the planning of an event, including postponing it, combining it with another event or changing its location.
Number of participants and conditions
In order to present our events in the best possible conditions, we limit each event to a minimum and maximum number of participants. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (provided that payment is made by the due date when payment is required).
Elargis tes Horizons does not provide transport to the venues: travel is the responsibility of the parents.
Exclusion
Young girls and parents must be willing to follow the instructions given by the accompanying adults.
Elargis tes Horizons reserves the right to exclude any participant from an activity or event for a justified reason, such as non-payment of registration fees or inappropriate behaviour (e.g. defamation, harassment, deliberate damage to equipment, etc.). In the event of exclusion, the participant remains liable for the full cost — no full or partial refund will be granted.
Absence
Unattended activities or events will not be repeated or refunded.
Liability and insurance
Elargis tes Horizons accepts no liability for any damage occurring during or as a result of any activity or event organised by the association. Parents are responsible for ensuring that their daughters have adequate insurance cover. Elargis tes Horizons cannot be held liable for theft or loss of personal belongings.
Data protection
In accordance with Swiss data protection legislation, Elargis tes Horizons undertakes to treat all information you provide to us, whether in connection with your registration or from data we have previously received from you, with the utmost rigour and confidentiality.
Video and photos
No video or photographs will be taken or shared on social media without the explicit consent of the parents and participants.
Parent participation during the Biennial Science Event
Parents may not attend the workshops during the Biennial Event. These workshops are designed to give participants the opportunity to meet women scientists, explore new topics and discover exciting careers, sharing this experience with their peers.
