From a chemical perspective, fireflies possess a talent that transforms them into living-lanterns. It illuminates their dark surroundings, creating a bewitching chemistry show. Beyond their shimmering beauty, fireflies employ their lights for communication. Each species has a unique flash pattern akin to a Morse code of love. However, the modern adversary of light pollution threatens these communications.
